Our clients charge us with locating the finest California wines for their private-label projects. This requires that we constantly research hundreds of California's vineyards including several best-known appellations, their grapes, production & harvest data, previous vintages, and of course sampling each and every wine.
When we find exceptional wines they are purchased for inclusion in our Œnophile Wines Vintner's Private Collection. The wines may be untouched such as the release of œlation- an extraordinary Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, or we will blend several of these to create a truly unique and remarkable wine, as in the case of Œ-LIXIR- a tantalizing and seductive blend of old-vine Merlot, Mourvedre, Petite Verdot, and Shiraz.

100% of these grapes come from a single vineyard nestled at the edge of the Sierra Foothills just below the winding Mokelumne River in the Clements Hills appellation of Lodi, California. The gnarled vines thrive in a unique, Mediterranean micro-climate where they are bathed in golden sunlight and cooled by Pacific Breezes. A swirl of the glass will show off this wine's brilliant, ruby-purple hues and excellent structure while releasing aromas of cherry, mint, dark chocolate, fig, and eucalyptus. Moderate tannins are bursting with flavors of ripe blackberry, rhubarb, anise, and a hint of tobacco.

This award-winning wine is the first release of our signature Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon label, 'œlan.' The grapes came from thick and gnarled vines rooted into a moderately sloped hill just below the Mokelumne River in one of our favorite sub-appellations, Clements Hills. The wine was aged in American oak to add tannin and a velvety texture. The first sip surprises with complexity and depth; rich notes of black currant, cassis, eucalyptus, green pepper, tobacco, and a delightful hint of mint.

This small-production blend is a unique combination of California's finest growing regions; Napa Valley and Lodi. Aromas of plum, cranberry, and toast are mixed with hints of white chocolate and baking spices. The ideal Napa Valley soils and warmer Lodi microclimates deliver a mouthfeel that is silky and smooth, leading into fruit-forward splashes of black cherry and cola nut. Aging four months on French oak added subtle notes of cinnamon and sandalwood that linger throughout.

Sunset Magazine International Wine Competition Winner's Tastings - May 31- June 1 2013, Palo Alto, California
H&H Wine Company's signature series Œnophile Wines received praise for it's first blind tasting competition ever entered. All three brands were accepted to be tasted by the industry's elite.
Œlation, a unique Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, was awarded with a Silver Medal and earned Œnophile Wines an invite to Sunset Magazine's famed 'Celebration Week' in San Fransisco. Here thousands of œnophiles were able to taste a variety of Sunset's medal winners in a gorgeous Bay Area environment.

This particular year saw a dramatic increase in wine entries and welcomed back several of the wine industry's biggest names. Along with owner Marc Harris, H&H Wine Company's Matthew Harris joined the judging committee to taste beside Peter Mondavi of Mondavi Family Wines; Steve Lohr of J. Lohr Winery; Doug Peters of Peters Family Winery; Robin Daniel Lail of Lail Vineyards, and Doris Cooper of Cooper-Garrod Estate Winery.
Laguna Beach Design Center's Wine & Design - June 18, 2014
Southern California attendees explored some of the finest showrooms and viewed beautiful vignettes designed by top interior designers as well as local design students. Guests were met with premium California wines, H&H Wine Company, while touring the beuatiful Laguna courtyards that are surrounded by the industries latest and finest showrooms.

Great Wine Festival 2015
The Celebrity Cruises Great Wine Festival is produced by and will benefit the Legal Aid Society of Orange County and Community Legal Services in Southeast Los Angeles County, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free legal services to those in our community who would otherwise be denied access to justice.
This year over 1,200 Southern California residents enjoyed wine, craft beer, and plates of food from the area's top producers.

Œnophile Wines signature collection (Œlan, ŒLIXIR, Œlation) features award wining wines that are notorious for their exquisit design and high quality packaging. Elin Harris, head of graphics and design for H&H Wine Company, blends unique label concepts harmoniously with attractive physcial elements. Past labels have included fine linen paper, embossed gloss text, copper/foil stamping, and even 24 karat gold silk-screening.
Together Ver Designs and Œnophile Wines were able to develop captivating environments that are impressive to the eye, yet elegantly functional.
